- Account data: Email address, full name, password (hashed — never plain text)
- Profile data: Trading style preferences, assets you choose to track
- Usage data: Login timestamps, subscription plan
- Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and personalise the AlfaHedge platform
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset)
- To process subscription payments
- To improve our signal accuracy and platform features
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
- Contract: Processing necessary to provide the service
- Legitimate interests: Improving platform performance and security
- Legal obligation: Where required by applicable law
5. Data Sharing
- Resend — email delivery
- Stripe — payment processing
- Hetzner — secure EU-based cloud hosting
No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area without appropriate safeguards.
6. Data Retention
Your personal data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

- JWT authentication with short-lived tokens
